It looks like there are some fun events this weekend.  There are also going to be some great open houses so if you are house hunting this would be a great weekend to look.  Here is the weekend line-up: 

  • RIVERFRONT FARMER’S MARKET, Saturday from 8am-12:30pm.  The market is located on Water Street in Historic Downtown Wilmington.
  • 4TH ANNUAL MAYFAIRE “MUSIC ON THE TOWN” CONCERT SERIES, Friday from 6-9pm.  On the Mayfaire Town Center Event Lawn behind Linens ‘n Things and World Market.  Enjoy free music!  Pets and coolers welcome.
  • JAZZ AT AIRLIE GARDENS CONCERT SERIES, Friday from 6-8pm.  Enjoy an eclectic mix of Jazz while checking out the gorgeous gardens.
  • CAROLINA BEACH FILM & FIREWORKS SERIES.  Tonight are the fireworks on the beach near the boardwalk with a band performing.  Sunday night there is a family friendly movie at Carolina Beach Lake Park.  Both events are free!
  • DOWNTOWN SUNDOWN CONCERT SERIES, Friday starting at 5:30pm.  Enjoy a free concert downtown on Water Street in Riverfront Park.  Free Concert!
  • SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, Thursday through Sunday at Roudabush Cafe at 33 S. Front Street in Historic Downtown Wilmington.
  • CABARET, Wednesday through Sunday at Thalian Hall in Historic Downtown Wilmington.
  • CAROLINA BALLET SUMMER INTENSIVE & RESIDENCY-WILMINGTON PREVIEW, Friday at 8PM & Saturday at 2pm.  The performance will take place at UNCW, Kenan Auditorium. 
  • PORT CITY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL, Saturday at 11pm in Hugh MacRae Park.  Musicians, beer and swag give-aways from the VIP, a variety of food from area restaurants and artists are on the agenda. 
  • CAROLINA BALLET SUMMER INTENSIVE & RESIDENCY-WORLD PREMIERE GALA CELEBRATION, Saturday at 7pm.  A cocktail reception with light hors d’oeuvres, two World Premiere performances and a post-perfomance “Meet-the-Artists” dessert reception with live music.  Proceeds to benefit the Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive & Residency at UNCW.  The celebration will be held at UNCW’s Kenan Auditorium.

Wilmington NC Real Estate, Screen Gems Studio
