The Wilmington Downtown Business Alliance that there will be a festival after the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 15th. The festival will be held on Water Street in front of the Federal Building. There will be traditional Celtic music, an “Irish punk band” from New Jersey and a U2 cover band from Los Angeles. On Saturday, March 1st, the Cape Fear Literacy Council will have their annual Mardi Gras Auction at the Coastline Convention Center in Historic Downtown Wilmington.
