• WILMINGTON’S BIG GREEK WEDDING GOES TO VEGAS!, Friday at 7pm.  Enjoy a night of food, music and theater at Thalian Hall in Historic Downtown Wilmington.
• UNCW GUEST ARTIST JAZZ FESTIVAL, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm.  Saxophonist Jim Snidero and composer Tom Davis will be the featured guests.  Tickets will be available one hour prior to curtain at the Cultural Arts Building Box Office. 
• KURE BEACH 60TH ANNIVERSARY PARADE & FESTIVAL, Saturday at 10:00am.  The parade starts on Fort Fisher Avenue between E and N Avenues.  Following the parade is a Street Festival with dozens of arts and craft booths, food, beer, wine vendors and a kids corner.  At dark there will be fireworks on K Avenue near the Kure Beach Fishing Pier. 
• HERB & GARDEN FAIR @ POPLAR GROVE PLANTATION, Saturday and Sunday.  Poplar Grove is located at 10200 Hwy 17N near Scotts Hill.
• COASTAL LIVING SHOW, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm.  Over 100 booths with diverse items for home, garden and general interest.  Proceeds go to benefit charities by the Wilmington Women’s Club.  The show will be held at the Cape Fear Community College Schwartz Center at 411 N. Front Street.
• MASTER GARDENER PLANT SALE, Wednesday the 28th through Wednesday, April 4th.  There will be many plants available including over 30 varieties of Azaelas, perennials, annuals, vines, hanging baskets, flowering trees, shrubs and herbs.  The sale will be held at the New Hanover County Arboretum at 6206 Oleander.
