• AWAKENING, Sunday, January 28th at 7:30pm.  Join Duke University’s Ciompi Quartet and Vocal Arts Ensemble at UNCW Music Recital Hall at 601 S. College Road.
• NC JR. SOROSIS ANTIQUE SHOW & SALE, Friday the 26th through Sunday the 28th.  Over 35 dealers from 3 states includes formal, primatives and country furniture, jewelry, oriental rugs, clocks, silver, glassware and china.  The sale will benefit area charities.  Hours on Friday will be 10am-6pm, Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday 12-5pm.  The show will take place at the Coastline Convention Center located at 501 Nutt Street in Historic Downtown Wilmington.
• CAPE FEAR MODEL RAILROAD SHOW & SALE, Saturday & Sunday from 10am until 4pm.    The show will feature model railroad dealers as well as “N”, Lionel and “HO” scale modular layouts.  There will be free clinics, door prizes and raffles.  The show will be held at the American Legion Post 10 at 702 Pinegrove Road, Post 10 in Wilmington.
