I just read in the Wilmington Star-News today that SAT scores are up locally but have had a big decrease nationwide.  The paper said that Pender County averaged scores of 977 on reading and math, Brunswick County averaged 991 and New Hanover County had the highest average of 1028.  This is great news for our Wilmington area schools!

Friday night we took new photographs for my business at the south end of Wrightsville Beach.  The sun was starting to set, there was a fabulous breeze and a lot of people walking, fishing and having fun in the surf.  It was a great way to end a very busy week and relax for a while!
