There was a great article in the Star News today that addressed the ease of getting mortgages. The article mentions what we have been hearing the last few days regarding the tightening up of credit. However, that is not so in the residential mortgage market. If you have a good credit score, a down payment and income that can be verified it should not be a problem to obtain a mortgage.
